Timer goes off, people were watching and I turned into a complete rookie. I missed easy shots I'd make blindfolded at home, competition pressure just hits different.

The timer once messed with my head, too. Easy drills just fell apart. After a few matches, my muscle memory kicked back in.

The timer used to freak me out big time. My hands would shake, and my mind would go blank. After a few matches, I learned to breathe and just deal with messing up.

Competition pressure can throw anyone off. Practicing under simulated conditions will help you build confidence
