Guns becoming more valuable

Pre-pandemic AR lowers that cost $50 are now $150+. Any gun bought before 2020 basically doubled in value. I am not selling though, I bought them to shoot, not to flip. But it's nice knowing my collection appreciated while sitting in the safe doing nothing.

I see why people like it, but the value only matters if you're selling. Prices went up because there wasn't enough supply not because the guns magically got better or rarer.
