I have had a Pietta Pepperbox for rhe last cople of years and never liked it. So over the last two months I tried an experiment. I took the over sized cylinder off and the rest of the gun looks like a 36 caliber Navy. So I ordered a barrel and it fit so I cut the oversized cylinder, just for simplicity in half. And it worked so instead of spending the money for the loading lever I bought a Howell cartrige conversion cylinder and it works, no timing issues. I now have a 36 caliber Long Colt that works fine.
