What's your go-to topwater lure?

I've been fishing since I was a kid, casting from my grandpa's old boat. Last summer, I had a bass explode on my Whopper Plopper at sunrise. I stick to bright lures in murky water and natural ones in clear lakes. Choppy water's been tricky, but slowing my retrieve helps. I'm always looking to up my topwater game. What's your go-to topwater lure?

If I had to pick one go-to topwater lure here in Nebraska, it's the Zara Spook when the light's right at dawn or dusk and fish are cruising shallow edges. It walks the water in that side-to-side "dead bait" way that bass can't resist.

When things get weedy or fish are shy, I'll swap to a frog-style bait or a Popping Bug because it lets me mess with sound and splash
