Sunflower seeds keep me awake better than coffee on long drives. I'll go through three bags on a six-hour trip. Everyone has their road trip snack. What's yours that you can't do a long drive without? Beef jerky? Energy drinks?

I always pack Gatorade, and enough of a camp kitchen (including coffee), and actual food.
If I'm going to make the trip, I'm going to make sure I can get by, if needed

That’s not a road trip, that’s a rolling base camp. I respect the commitment

My usual road trip, by motorcycle, is around 5K to 7K miles.
When I have someplace to be, I'll take the interstate, but if I'm not in a hurry, I'll take the more scenic route.

It always used to be gummi bears back in the day.
Of late .... it's mostly fluids. I've grown to stop off for better forms of nutrition.
