Gun cleaning

I duick wipe down and lube after shooting and I deep clean every few months. That's my system, do you think that is enough or should I be doing more?

If it runs happy and shiny, you’re cleaning enough. Guns hate neglect, not moderation.

I just found easier ways of doing a better job.
Brake parts cleaner is pretty effective. Followed by some of the usual suspects, it's a fast and effective system

That sounds pretty close to my routine. As long as your gun stays reliable and you’re not letting the bore get ignored, you’re probably ahead of most people already.

My routine seems normal: a light clean after shooting and a deeper one every few months. Following that, I’ve never had reliability trouble.
