Is reloading worth it anymore? I used to save money but now components cost so much I'm not sure it's worth the time. For those who reload, is it actually cheaper now or just about customization and availability?

Mostly .223, .308, and 9mm. I used to be a clear savings, now I’m questioning whether the time and component costs still justify it.

I don't reload to save money anymore. Now I do it to tweak my ammo and not rely on stores. It makes a difference on the target, not just my bank statement.

Yes, it's worth it. The real kink in ones think is in the objective.
If it's just to save money, then you'll find some conflict around 9mm and 223.
in the case of 9MM range fodder, this can still be worth it if you cast and powder coat yourself.
loading bulk FMJ in 9 becomes much harder to justify. the ROI makes a viable comeback when producing premium loads.
223 ... its somewhat a similar story. there is some financial as well as performance gains to be had loading standard ball 55 grain FMJ. Whether or not this is worth it is subjective. It's when you get away from the standard ball loading that reloading pays off.
308 .... definitely reload this and practically every other caliber
