Classic and modern hunting rifles debate

Give me wood and steel every time. A Winchester Model 70 has more soul in its trigger guard than any plastic-stocked tactical rifle. Sure, the new stuff might shoot .25 MOA in perfect conditions, but a classic .30-06 has killed everything on this continent for a century.

Hard to argue with that. I love modern accuracy, but there’s something about carrying wood and steel that just feels right
