Bought a Hi-Point because I was curious, it actually works

Everyone clowns on Hi-Points, so I bought one as a joke. The thing runs fine, it is ugly as sin but it goes bang every time. Is it amazing? No. Does it work? Yeah. Anyone else own something "bad" that's actually reliable?

I had a couple of them years ago. Reliably firing through a full mag was an issue with them both.

 I had the same experience with one of those. It wasn't pretty and it certainly wasn't refined but it just kept working

Hi point!?!?! well hold my beer and watch what we can do with a 3D printer and some AR and glock parts.
The Hoffman tactical AR9, complete with tactical hose clamp and 3D printed 60 round drum was quite the pleasant surprise.
The "Derecho" Glock based PDW will handle a kill house with the agility and confidence of a pissed off hummingbird.
