I've been trying to figure this out since last week. I'm new to Nebraska and trying to get a handle on the local laws, especially when it comes to firearms. I've heard mixed things about binary triggers. Some folks say they're fine, while others act like it's a gray area. To be honest, I'd rather not find out the hard way.

I just want to enjoy some time at the range without any legal worries. If anyone's got insights or maybe even a link to official info, I'd really appreciate it. Are there any specific regulations here that I should be aware of? Thanks in advance!

What is FRT ?
Forced reset trigger.
Basically, you squeeze the trigger. Gun goes bang, bolt carrier group goes rearward as usual.
However, this action will force the trigger forward and hold it there through the rest of the firing cycle.
The trigger will be released after the BCG returns to battery so that the trigger may be squeezed again.
Your finger essentially acts as a spring in what is pretty much a full auto arrangement, but avoids the definition as it's your finger firing one shot per pull of the trigger .... Satisfying the legal definition of semi auto
