Whenever I hit the range, I wonder if folks prefer going solo or making it a social trip with friends. Shooting alone keeps me focused, but rolling with buddies adds fun and feedback. What's your go-to range style?

Yeah, I totally get that, I mix it up too, sometimes solo for focus and technique, other times with friends for laughs and tips. It keeps things interesting and helps me improve either way

I'm also a mix-of-both kind of person.. solo sessions are great for really dialing in technique and staying focused, but bringing friends makes it way more enjoyable and having extra eyes for safety never hurts

I'm a social shooter for sure, going with buddies keeps me from getting too in my head about perfect form..and someone's always got ammo I want to try, and the friendly competition makes everything more fun

That's the perfect approach..solo time is great for serious practice, but friends make it more fun and you're right about the extra safety awareness

Both.
Quite often the range trip is reloading related, or some other application of testing is involved. I don't usually bring anyone along for this, as I only have three people in my universe I feel are qualified to be in attendance for such things.
When the work is done, I'm more open to the idea of bringing some people along.

It's smart to keep some shooting practice trips focused, especially for testing or reloading stuff. Safety and skill should be top priorities before bringing others.
