It is way more accurate than shooting 9mm from a pistol. Ammo's cheap. Recoil is nothing. I don't get why these aren't more popular. Anyone else shooting pistol caliber carbines?

I've liked them a lot, going WAY back to a Marlin Camp Carbine I got on sale at K-Mart, and a couple of older Marlin 1894s (a .357 and a .44). Cheap and FUN to shoot, and pretty practical, if you have a handgun that uses the same ammo (& maybe the same magazines)!

I currently have a 9mm AR that I put together (uses cheap unmodified Uzi mags), and a Rossi Model 92, that's a lot smoother than any of the Marlins I've owned, YMMV. (The AR favors 147 gr Hoosier coated FP reloads, and the Rossi likes my 110 gr JHP .38 Special +P loads.) Oh, and there's also a 40 cal 2nd generation KelTec folding carbine that I got cheap when they introduced a "new & improved" version (Gen 3) - handy size to have along if/when I'm on the road. It's done well with some 165 gr plated RNFP blems I got somewhere, loaded slow enough so they don't lead the barrel (need to load up some jacketed bullets at higher velocities, and see how they shoot ;^).

Lots of options out there from companies like Ruger, S&W and Marlin, including 10mm, .45 acp and 44 mag, which might be really useful for some folks...

I enjoy my PCC's I have two AR platforms in 9mm and a Henry big boy in 357.
they are all great weapons that would be at home in small game and pest control roles as well as home defense in the case of the AR's

PCCs are the gateway drug. Next thing you know, you’re “justifying” three more calibers. 😄
