I will say "Mosin Nagant" just because the stock is too short and the trigger is garbage. But there's something satisfying about shooting a 80-year-old battle rifle. The discomfort is part of the experience and ammo was cheap before everything got expensive. I still love it despite hating it

That pretty much sums up the Mosin experience perfectly...love and hate wrapped into one rifle.

The history and recoil are part of the charm, even if it beats you up a bit.

I have this old Mauser that kicks like a mule. But every time I shoot it, I feel like I'm holding history. That's what keeps me coming back for more.

Ithaca 200 E.
It's an elegant SxS 20 ga. Comes up like lightning and points like a finger.
It's fit and agile nature are deceptive.
It's recoil is quite sharp.
In my 20's, it was difficult to get through 100 rounds shooting clays.
I do love that thing, though it'll beat you half to death.

Old army rifles kick hard, but I smile after shooting them. They're rough and loud and it makes every shot feel better.
