Hit the lake in Nebraska last Saturday. A buddy and I were after bass, but it was a bit of a slow go. The weather was nice, warm with a little breeze, but the water seemed a bit murky from recent rains. We tossed around some spinnerbaits and jigs, hoping for a reaction bite, but only managed a couple of smaller ones. Lost a decent one right at the boat—those things can really turn on you! Overall, not a skunk, but definitely not a banner day. How's the fishing been in your area?
