I learned this the hard way at the shooting range. I tried using my friend’s 1911, the grip was too big and I couldn't hold it right. Every shot felt wrong, the recoil was all over the place...and I couldn't get my follow-up shots right. When I switched back to my own gun, it felt like putting on my favorite, broken-in boots. Has anyone else felt that feeling when a gun just feels perfect in your hand?
